About me.

I am a Moscow based children author illustrator.

I graduated from British Higher School Of Art And Design - Russian Illustration Program, which is my second degree after International Economics.

In my art I use geometric fields of textured colour with calligraphic scribbles. Sunny shades, lots of air treated with irony and a tint of melancholy.

I am inspired by nature, architecture - things we take for granted - bugs, twigs, stones, natural patterns, heritage. To me they are alive and breathe stories.

Trash and how we treat it is another inspiration. Packaging and food waste particularly.

I live with my martial arts family - kendo husband and taekwondo daughter, who is ENG-RU bilingual after our family spent several years living in Oxford, UK. While my childhood I spent in Ukraine. Those two countries changed me and now my happy place is forever up on a willow tree peaking through the leaves at a winding river on the horizon.

When I am not illustrating I teach English to toddlers, invent stories, goof around with my shadowbox, pick trash and garden on my city terrace.
